Lyle's Squeezy Bottle

Project Summary
Lyle's is one of the most iconic and recognisable UK brands enjoyed across the world. However, their range of squeezy baking syrup bottles had poor shelf brand presence and was losing out to private label brands.
Our brief was to design a new bottle structure, across 2 harmonious sizes, that is totally ownable to Lyle's; driving brand recognition and shelf standout, whilst remaining sympathetic to the iconic branding.

The Design
Our design takes inspiration from the world record setting iconic Lyle's golden syrup tin by echoing the simplistic and bold form.
We have translated the decorative golden pattern outline from the tin as debossing along the top and bottom frame as well as the strong embossed 'Since 1883' statement.
Our new design includes a large beautiful graphic label echoing the iconic golden arch and is much more efficient on the filling line allowing higher production volume.
