If you don't like the idea of people staying in your home and see it as an invasion of privacy then this isn't for you. However, I have found from personal experience that there's joy to be found in sharing your home with others. In every single case, my guests have been nothing but appreciative and respectful of my home and my hospitality. Then of course there's the fact that you can supplement your income and make it work for you, however you feel comfortable.

I think the most common approach if you are renting out your own home that you predominantly live in, is to rent it out if you are away on holiday for a period of time or just away for the weekend. I like to think of it as your airbnb can essentially pay for some or all of your weekend away! That can't be a bad thing and everyone is benefiting.
